Mr. Blake, a Villanova native, earned a B.A. from Tulane University and received his J.D. from Temple Law School in 1973. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania and Delaware County Bar Associations and was a member of the latter's Board of Directors for two two-year terms, once in the mid-80s and again in the mid-90s.
Mr. Blake is a founding member of the Guy G. deFuria American Inn of Court, an organization promoting excellence in trial advocacy skills, professionalism and ethics through mentoring, educational programs, and social events for attorneys, judges, and recent law school graduates. A former editor of the Delaware County Legal Journal, Mr. Blake has served as Radnor Township Solicitor since 2000.
Mr. Blake has also served on several boards of non-profits offering substance abuse counseling, as well as the board of the Delaware County Outreach Committees; in addition to his administration duties there he is also actively involved in the organization's after-school reading and tutorial programs. In addition, he is on the board of Media's Hedgerow Theatre and is an avid, longtime supporter of the Radnor Soccer Club.
In his free time, Mr. Blake enjoys reading, as well as carving and painting duck decoys. He currently lives in Media and has two adult sons.
Mr. Blake's practice will focus primarily on municipal issues.
