Kristin S. Camp graduated magna cum laude from Miami University of Ohio in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs. She then attended the George Washington University School of Law for one year and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, cum laude in 1994.
She was admitted to the Bar in Pennsylvania in 1995, as well as to the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Pennsylvania. She started her practice of law by clerking for Judge Hudock in the Pennsylvania Superior Court in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In April of 1996, Kristin moved to West Chester from Pittsburgh and began her private legal practice with Buckley, Nagle, Brion, McGuire, Morris & Sommer in the Municipal, Zoning and Land Use Department working closely with partners, Ronald C. Nagle (now the Honorable Ronald C. Nagle) and Joseph (Skip) Brion. Kristin has represented approximately 10 different municipalities in Chester County providing legal assistance on a variety of legal matters including zoning, land use, police contracts, personnel issues and ordinance preparation and enforcement.
Kristin's legal focus is not limited to her municipal law practice. She also assists individuals and businesses in obtaining land use approvals for new developments, negotiates and drafts real estate transactional documents such as agreements of sale, leases and easements. She also represents the Spring City Civil Service Commission and several homeowners and condominium associations.
After many years of hard work and dedication to her legal practice, Kristin was made a partner in the Firm in September of 2006.
In addition to working four days a week at the Firm, Kristin teaches group exercise classes at the ACAC Fitness and Wellness Center in West Chester and serves on the Board of Directors of Malvern Federal Savings and Loan. She is also a troop leader for her daughter's Brownie Troop. She is married to Christopher Camp who practices estate law in Philadelphia and has three young daughters, Carolyn, Molly and Katie.
