Michael Gill's practice focus is land use, environmental, administrative and regulatory matters, transactional real estate and eminent domain issues. His experience includes representing clients in zoning and land development matters, handling commercial real estate transactions, negotiating office and retail leases for landlords and tenants, including some of the region's major commercial companies and parties in complex condemnation cases.

"My practice is a mixture of litigation and transactional work. You have to have a fundamental knowledge of real estate, but it can be an adversarial process," he said. "I enjoy the unique challenges each client brings to the table. The issues and procedures of each case are compelling and important."

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Michael graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies. Mr. Gill rejoined Buckley in 2005 ahead of the birth of his daughter.

Michael was an Associate at Buckley Brion from September 2001 through June 2003 when he moved his practice to a large, national law firm. Mr. Gill rejoined Buckley in 2005 following the birth of his daughter.

Michael is a member of the Chester County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Environmental & Natural Resources Section, as well as the Administrative and Regulatory Law Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Gill serves as the Vice Chairman of the Chester County Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities/Early Intervention Advisory Board. He also serves as the Co-Chairman on the Environmental Law Committee of the ABA Administrative and Regulatory Case Section. Michael is also the Republican Party Committeeperson for his voting district in the Borough of West Chester.

Michael and his wife, Shelly, live in West Chester with their daughter.
