Jeff worked his way through Widener University School of Law, clerking for a judge of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas during the day and going to class at night. A graduate of Lehigh University, he earned his J.D. and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1982. He was admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1984.
Jeff's energy and dedication is evident today in his commitment to his clients and to the legal profession. A partner with Buckley Brion since 1990, Jeff is the Chair of the Litigation Department with his practice areas including civil defense, municipal, land use, zoning and environmental litigiation, as well as real estate taxation. Jeff's practice also includes the representation of numerous municipal and county governmental bodies.
He is a member of the Chester County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations; and was recently elected as a Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates Representative for Zone 9 that serves Chester, Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Chester County Bar Association and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Bar Foundation.
He is also listed in Who's Who in American Law. Jeff's community activities include serving on the Board of Directors of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, Being an active member and past president of the West Chester Rotary Club; past president of the West Chester Area Day Care; Board member of the West Chester YMCA and a Deacon of his church. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Southern Chester County Soccer Association and was recently named Corporate Secretary of Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association.
Jeff is also the 2010 Co-Chair of the 8th Annual West Chester Rotary Chili Cookoff for as well as the Chair of the Chili Cookoff Sponsorship Drive.
In his spare time, Jeff enjoys the beautiful game of soccer with his two boys. He and his wife, Lisa, live in Pocopson with their family.
