Mac Alasad-Murphy is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group. Her practice focuses on representing government entities and other clients in a range of civil litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on advocacy in juvenile dependency proceedings. Mac brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her practice, drawing on prior experience in criminal defense and immigration law to inform her work in government and family-related litigation.

Before joining the firm, Mac co-founded Savage Sisters Recovery, a Philadelphia nonprofit focused on harm reduction and public health outreach. She led initiatives with the Department of Public Health and District Attorney’s Office, advocating for policy change and expanded substance misuse resources—experience that continues to inform her work with families in the dependency system and in government law.
